This was our first time dining here. The food was great. Authentic Barvarian . Everything from the salad to the spetzle to the schnitzel ! Our waiter was the owner. He engaged in very friendly conversations with my husband and I during our visit. It has a warm welcoming bistro atmosphere.

This is a lovely little restaurant owned by a family; parents and son. The food is of the freshest ingredients. I wanted to add that this restaurant very much is bistro style, and the menu changes by the week, so be sure to check ahead if there is something that you very much want. The cooking is authentic and would be great with a bottle of wine. *Note* Mammoth Spring is in a dry county so they cannot serve wine to you, however, the owners have glasses to provide and will be most accommodating if you wish to bring your own.

Good traditional German food (I had the Jager Schnitzel). Not big portions, but very tasty. The owners (older couple) warmed up and were quite talkative.

This is our 2nd time at the Pastorella,and everything was amazing as the first time. The Owner is very funny, and kind. The food was so delicious, and we had a great time while in the bistro. We will definitely be back.

Like everyone else, we loved this little German Bistro! My husband and I both had the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was cooked to order and absolutely delicious! The owners were friendly and delightful people and the atmosphere was like a family gathering! We are visiting the area but hope to go back before heading home in the spring. It’s a 65 mile one way trip. That’s how good this place is!

It’s a great place with great food! The menu changes every day, so you can count on variety, and the couple who own and run it are great hosts and conversationalists. I believe their son cooks, and it’s amazing! I tried the Wiener schnitzel and the roast pork. Both were excellent! 10/10 I highly recommend this place.
