The service on night shift at the Waffle House in mount sterling was awful our waitress was so rude and disrespectful, we asked for a refill and we got side eyed, she didn’t give us half our food and then charged us for it, she dropped plates in the floor which shouldn’t be a problem but she smelled like straight weed, and not to mention the fact that when men walked in she was just standing there talking to them the whole time we waited on our refills which I would say it was 5-10 minutes and we still never got them. she had blonde hair with pink in the back. Just saying if you want to eat here they have a wonderful waitress on first shift!

This is a small restaurant with limited seating . It is primarily a breakfast restaurant. As the name “ Waffle House “ implies. There is a simple two page menu with one page just breakfast. The second menu page is lunch or light dinner. I should mention that this restaurant and Cracker Barrel are the only two restaurants that open early enough for us to eat breakfast.

The food was good but I took 2 stars off because when I say I want crispy bacon I don’t want almost burnt bacon and the second reason is because the table had something on it and when we asked the waitress to get something and clean it for us she just handed us the rag to do it ourselves. That knocked a little off her tip. It wasn’t even busy so it’s not like she even had an excuse for the table to be dirty to begin with. But there was one waitress that came in a little later that was very friendly.

Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had in A restaurant. Server was not listening at all. Hash browns were undercooked I asked for no ice in my drink twice and she put it in anyway hot as can be in the restaurant

Horrible experience. Went Friday morning April 7th 2023 around 3 in the morning. The waitress was drugged up and couldn’t get my order right. Took an hour to make my waffle and it was burnt. When she was serving the food she had her fingers in the food. Overall an horrible experience and won’t be back. Mt. Sterling location.
