Bikers! Go the extra 1/2 mile for Mel’s Place. It’s an excellent place to fuel up at the end of Falling Waters trail in Concord. Classic diner food served just the way you like it. Now open Sundays 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. Closed Thursdays. Remodeled several years ago. Where there was plywood paneling it’s now exposed brick, a funky chandelier collection, and a welcoming bike rack out front.

Well hello guys! Welcome to Concord, hungry? Try out Mel’s Place! I just ordered for pick up an had a breakfast meal, which had eggs (not over cooked, and good flavor), hash browns (good amount, which I love) bacon ( which lasted me all the way to the end of my meal, yes!) and raisin bread.

I ordered soft scrambled eggs and they were flawless. I also ordered extra crispy hash browns…they were perfect. The service was amazing, the owner talked to me and she was amazing too. I can’t wait to being my family.

You’re always treated like family at Mel’s. We don’t go out to eat often, but love to get our breakfast fix here. Whether we grab it to go, or dine in. Her stuffed French toast is my favorite when it’s on special.

New small town diner (much needed in Concord) and I love it! Food has been really good, prices are good and owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. An occasional hiccup now and again but I attribute that to being so new. Great place!

Tasty food and a reasonable price. You can tell they’re still getting into a the swing of things as service was a little slow, but not that bad. I just moved in down the street and will certainly stop by again and hope they continue to grow.
