You are the cook! Go pick your meak, shrimp and vegetables and then cook them on grill. It will take you about 25 minutes to cook. Do not wear nice clothes you will smell like grill.

The quality of the food itself was good but expensive. We didn’t anticipate cooking our own steak, and it was an unpleasant surprise. The Boss likes medium rare, and I like medium well so she finished cooking 10 minutes before me. It was annoying – my wife needed a night off. Salad was mixed lettuce with some iceberg. – not my favorite mix, just a small side salad The dressing was tasteless. Unlimited baked potatoes, and yesterday’s baked potatoes – now named skillet potatoes were just above room temperature. Anyway, gave up on the steak and will cook it up tomorrow. If we knew we were going to cook we’d have gone to Costco for 3 times the steak at half the money. It has potential to be a fun, entertaining meal – but I just wasn’t drunk enough. I won’t be back.

Unique experience where you select your meat from a butcher case along with any sides and cook it on a grill yourself. There are sides available already prepared that would not be practical to grill like baked potatoes. The food was great. I am not one of those people who go out to eat wanting to cook my own food. However, this was a group dinner and I was able to find someone more than willing in our group to help me cook my steak. I’m not sure if the staff is willing to cook it for you or not if you don’t want to, but they were very friendly and accommodating for our large group of about 15. Dessert was amazing.

Amazing GRILLING experience! Rube’s has amazing cuts of steak and cast iron skillet sides that will make any meal great. The atmosphere and giant community grill make this an unforgettable place. Don’t forget the unlimited Texas toast with butter while you are grilling your own food with friends and family. Also please try the mac and cheese…..It’s FANTASTIC! This place is puts an amazing twist on a traditional steakhouse and never disappoints.

Such a fun date date night for the hubs and me! The meat guys recommended that he butterfly his filet. Although he probably wouldn’t do that again, his steak was tender and flavorful. I grilled the t-bone. We made a couple of pieces of garlic bread to munch while at the grill. FUN!!!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share this experience. I went to this restaurant with a group of six, including two kids under seven and a baby. After ordering a salad, we were invited to the meat counter with another table. I liked choosing my own cut, but I was surprised when my waitress told me that I had to cook my $53 steak myself, starting from a cold piece of meat.

Didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night but they got us right in. Waitress was so great, she told us all about each cut of meat and even what she liked best and why. The experience of grilling was great. I’m always looking for things to do other than just go eat. Will be back again!

Beautiful place right off I-80! Exceptional service and experience. The cuts of meat were incredible and definitely worth every penny. If getting sides bring an extra stomach because there will be leftovers!
