They were doing some sort of construction when we went. So we tried this place when we went to knotts and after stayed at the knotts hotel! So this is inside the hotel and you can also order room service they will bring your food right up to your door! It is on the pricey side! I did order some Hawaiian shrimp on a bed of jasmine rice since I was craving shrimp but I didnt really like the flavor it was like a sweet n sour shrimp with a lot of vegetables and didn’t really sit very well with my tummy. I got two smaller kids an order of boysenberry sliders (comes with 3) and a side of fries. My other son got a huge plate of asada nachos and those were yummy! Really good tasting meat and and crispy crunchy tortilla chips. Also I got a slice of boysenberry pie a la mode…omg it was to die for! It did have tiny grainy seeds in it but it really didn’t bother any of us including the small kids. After I took a kids meal up to the room it came with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread and a side of fries! That was really good also! The kids meal was $10.99 though so it was pricey i think it should be half that. But overall the rest of the food was good but the prices were killing me! And the shrimp wasn’t to my liking. I think I was looking for more of a shrimp cocktail flavor. Overall I would probably eat here again if I’m staying at the hotel but I won’t go out of my way to go eat here, Unless you don’t mind the prices haha. Enjoy!

Had a really good experience at this restaurant! Visiting Knotts for a family members birthday, and after a long day and had checked in the Knotts Berry Hotel, we came here to eat. Kevin was an amazing server and gave my family and I the best service! I ordered the Italian Penne Pasta, and the others ordered the classic burger, chipotle sliders, and rib tips with fries. Really fresh and quick! I would recommend this if youre staying at the hotel since it is in the lobby.

We’ve hit several of the Southland tourist hotspots in the last week. This was the best meal we’ve had on this trip. Way better than the $101 pizza in Avalon and the $300 Mexican catering we had inland. The portions were generous and the flavors were both down-home comfort food and new, flavorful and unexpected. Knott’s got its start as a restaurant around the corner serving chicken. It grew from there into a major theme park. Boysenberries are de rigeur flavor/component of Knott’s dishes. I

I’ve lived by here for decades and never got to try it. The wait staff was nice, attentive. The salad tasted very fresh, the steaked was cooked to my liking(rare) potatoes were nummy and the steamed veggies were delightful, and the price was alright. I’d go again.

I came here with my wife and kids two days in a row, an evening for dinner and a morning for breakfast. I had the chicken pot pie for dinner and it was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had from anywhere. Delicious, done perfectly, and great, attentive service with a smile. The breakfast could have been much better. The whole family had the buffet, and the hash browns, sausage, and bacon were all ice cold. The only thing that was warm was the scrambled eggs. Also, our waitress was very inattentive. We had to chase her down for everything. We even had to flag the manager down to get the check. Overall, Amber Waves was pretty good for dinner but substandard for breakfast. We’ll probably come here again, albeit reluctantly.

Celebrated our holiday feast at Amber Waves. The service was excellent. A delicious array of traditional foods. The butternut squash soup was scrumptious, carving station offered savory turkey, ham and steak. The dessert table overflowed with sinfully decadent pies and cakes.

The breakfast was okay and considering $21 per person, not much options in the buffet.

It was very nice to go to a place in a theme park hotel and not spend my whole budget.

Good service, but lackluster food. Very dry chicken. Pizza was the better tasting option. No ginger ale refills. Breakfast buffet was decent.

We recently had dinner here and the food was great! The pepperoni pizza was really good and the chipotle boysenberry chicken sandwich was delicious! Hope the quality of everything stays after the remodel. Definitely the best food at Knott’s.
