My biggest mistake was going in with the High expectations I had based on nostalgia. This was the first time eating at this fast food chain in over 25 years, and as A kid, Taco Time was my favorite eatery at a local mall in the Bronx. This location, however, was in a gas station and that’s not even the problem I had during my experience. The counter area where you order was dirty. Dust bunnies on the lighting fixtures literally fell on to the prep area while I was there. Given the current state of things in the world while the Chinese COVID-19 is closing dining areas, it was still very sloppy and in disarray. The cooking area itself, was fairly clean, but was still very disorganized.

I should give them zero stars because I almost didn’t order anything but I love west coast Taco Times and this is the only one remotely close to me in the Midwest. But man, they stink. The hours are ridiculous and the employees are rude and do not honor general Taco Time promotions. I asked about why I was being charged full price for 4 of the same kind of item included in the 4/5.55 and was told “it has to be mismatch, that’s just how it is” even though Taco Time restaurants anywhere else do not have this rule and the sign says nothing about this. But fine, the crisp burritos are worth the annoyance of the workers and inconvenience of the location/hours, but ONLY every now and then.

First they shouldnt be allowed to use the taco time name i have always loved taco time but this one doesnt do it service. The hours suck. They are slow and rude. And they wnted 7 bucks for a smothered fry order that was very small. You cam get the same thing, size and ingredents at white castle for less than 3 bucks.

Insanely short hours 8am-3pm, and then they still close early. Arrived at 2:50 pm, and get rudely told that they are closed. Absolutely Unacceptable!!!
