Another instance of over hyped by reviews and let down by the restaurant, after seeing the reviews I really wanted to try this place and went in hoping for great food, which turned out to be strictly okay. It’s not the food is bad, but it’s lacking the flavor that usually is the main thing in Thai restaurants I look for. Spring rolls were good, but the fried rices I have tried were let down. Above all, it seemed very pricey for the food it offered.

I’ve lived in Arlington all my life and can’t believe I’d been passing up this gem for so long! The service is good along with serving time. Their menu has great variety. The dish in the phone is Curry Fried Rice, lunch portions. One thing about Sunny Thai, they are going to give you your monies worth! The portions are very fair and the flavors are great! My boyfriend got a Pho dish that he said was packed with flavor as well. If you’re in Arlington looking for a quick bite to eat, put this on your list.
