Amazing food, friendly staff, this place has the best Peruvian food right in our backyard. The Lomo saltado is fantastic and the yuca huancaina is a great appetizer. Will definitely be coming back!

We ate here tonight, and found the food incredible. Marinated fish (Cerviche de Pescado) was a tangy lime flavor, coupled with a savory sweet potato and roasted corn was joined by a dish of succulent beef tips (Lomo Saltado) served with a tint pyramid of rice. Our server suggested we try a drink they made called Chicha Morada, a deep burgundy color, taken from Peruvian purple corn, that had nice complexity with only a hint of sweetness. While the location is not glamorous, it is clean and pleasant.

If you are looking to try some authentic Peruvian dishes, this is the place. The cerviche and our dishes were fantastic. Definitely wi come visit again. Service was excellent , we took our time between courses. Restaurant is located off IBM road in poughkeepsie, easy in and for parking, relaxed atmosphere.

This place is just 12 days old and it is the ONLY Peruvian restaurant on this side of the river. My dad and i ordered 2 appetizers (causa de pollo & papa la huancaina) and they were on point, hit the spot. The main courses we ordered were the aji de gallina and the pescado a lo macho. I was taken back on how delicious those platters were. Everyone has to come and try this place out, you won’t be disappointed. They don’t have their liquor license yet but the owner told me it was coming soon….it’s gonna be even better when they do. I have been waiting for over 13 years (since moved up here) for a Peruvian place on this side and only hope it’s here to stay…please show your support so that it does.

This restaurant just opened up a few days ago and we wanted try it as soon as we could. Great menu with lots of different Peruvian items to try. The first batch of what we had was great and we will be coming back to try more of their menu. Their rice chaufa was so fresh and had a great combination of asian and Peruvian flavor, the added beef was cooked perfectly. The churasco meal was delicious and had a little bit of other menu items included to try. Our table liked the ceviche and will be trying the shrimp one next time. The desserts all sounded good so we shared 3 of them and recommend any of them.
