This review is for Scicchitano’s pizza. The Hilo Pizza Company replaced Scicchitano’s pizza. Great pizza place. A generous slice is $4.50 and well worth it! The inside area is small but has tables and NYC style eating rails. We prefer the outside tables but there is no view (you face the back of McDonald’s). They have more than pizza; also available is pasta, sandwiches and salads. This is my favorite pizza place in Hilo.

This place is located in the middle of a shopping center in a little nook. You can order your pies over the phone. you can pick up a slice or get a whole pie. They have really good chicken wings. Signature pies. You need to try their house special. You can dine in and have a canned beer. The service was great and friendly definitely would come back.

It’s rare for me to give a five star for a restaurant in Hilo but I think this might be the best local pizza shop for the big island. They are a true family business, great pizza options, great menu options and classy venue.
