Delicious, delicious food! I The staff is very friendly and helped me with making a choice, since there were so many options. I got the dish that filled my craving that day. I had the seafood platter with the fried shrimp, fried oyster and fried catfish. I can’t wait to go back and try some more food!

I lived in New Orleans for many years so my food palette is not only refined but extremely picky when it comes to southern Cajun cuisine cooked in California by Californians. Not only is Elaine’s good, it’s authentically good! The owner is always close by and eager to take your order. This place is most definitely one of my downtown favorites.

My daughter and niece and I met the young man in there which assisted us and was very pleasant as he was working away at his recipe creations,I ordered the Catfish which was pretty sizable for a second serving on bread,hamburger’s and fries,chicken strip’s and fried oysters I believe, It was so fulfilling and good we were ready for a nap afterwards so you can best believe we will be back soon and the prices are reasonable thank you Elaine’s Cajun Cuisine.
