Service was not as perfect as it usually is, but they were short staff. So it’s understandable. It still didn’t take away from the food quality. Never seems to disappoint. Always recommend this place to anyone going to Lake Charles Golden Nugget.

Sushi rolls were delicious as was the egg drop soup. Josh waited on us. He was very attentive…our cups were never empty ! Josh was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer my questions. We will definitely will be back. Great food, excellent service!!

I was disappointed. This is normally a great spot. We recently stayed at the nugget for four days. We ate here a few nights ago, and the food wasn’t hot, it was only warm. It also took over an hour from the time we ordered till the time our food hit the table. Our drinks stayed empty. It’s never been that bad.

Horrible horrible horrible service. Our server, Marcie, was extremely rude and seemed like she did not even want to serve us. It went from tossing straws at us to ignoring anything we had to say. She did not check on us once and forgot most of our side dishes, and anytime we mentioned it, her excuse was “the kitchen is making it.” The kitchen was in fact not making, since it doesn’t take thirty minutes to make a fried egg (she still charged us.) Later, we found a bug in our soup, and when we told her, all she said was “okay” and walked away. When we tried to tell her again, she told us she did not want to grab our plate from us, and that WE had to hand her the plate (there was plenty of room for her to grab it, rather than passing a bowl of soup down three people for her to receive it). The manager avoided eye contact with us, knowing that we sat there, extremely unhappy and waiting fifteen plus minutes for her to take our check… We tried to give our server a second chance when we attempted to tell her about the bug, but she clearly didn’t care.

I had a pleasant experience at Lillie’s and really enjoyed the Thai Shrimp Salad. The description is in the photo from the menu and the salad is absolutely excellent. Fresh mint, thin sliced broiled shrimp, onion crunch and many more delicious items. I had the Godzilla roll as well, which was very good. At times the right chef will make the Godzilla No rice, but they all manage a reduced rice version.
