I came to Lalo’s Family Resteraunt with my family to have a good lunch since I have heard good things about this place. I have to say I was disappointed with how my evening went while dining in. My family and I ordered our food with me getting a Shrimp Burrito with red rice but when I received my burrito it was really flat and didn’t have the right rice inside so I kindly asked them to fix it and they did so I was okay with it at the start. My mother got the “Mojarra Frita” with rice and beans on the side but when she tried the rice and beans they were so cold it felt like the cook made her food really early and just let it get cold over time. My mom had to ask to get it redone. My sister got the Salmon with Garlic Aioli but when she recieved it they forgot the garlic, so we told our server that they forgot it the garlic aioli and they made things right and gave my sister a complimentary piece of garlic bread as an apology but that took a turn aswell. The garlic bread was burnt and tasted awful that my sister didn’t even want to take a second bite. I’m not upset at the fact things got mixed up and orders got wrong, I’m just upset that that our food was cold and the taste of the food overall wasn’t acceptable for being decently priced. The best thing about my meal was the free water. There are better restaurants out there that have better customer care, satisfactory tasting food and just overall a more pleasant experience.

My only issue with this place was the bartender (a lady) who, I understand is trying to get tips, was cussing so much to her customers where I almost wanted to leave. I get that’s how some people talk but it is a FAMILY restaurant & to be saying that many bad words was just overall unnecessary. I’ll give this restaurant another shot but I will not be seated near the bar area.

Beautiful atmosphere! Mexican style, nice music, VERY CLEAN, very smiling workers, food was great, large dishes… we took half home…. A will be back place… host person and waitress very nice and smiling ☺️…. I did really like it… even the bath was clean and smell clean. Very generous size of chips and salsa when they seat you at table….

What can I say about this restaurant Well, I will be honest. We came here for dinner, we were recommended here. They told us it was the best restaurant in town. To be honest, It wasn’t that great. we waited for are food, 15 minutes past. 30 minutes, 45 minutes.Finally 1 hours past Our food was on the way. And to be honest. The quality of the food wasn’t good , Most of our dishes wasn’t cooked all the way. In the rest of The food, It seems they use cans food from the store. About the Beverage, What’s a great eater? For the price we paid. For dining here What’s worth it? Do not recommend This place? But Does is my opinion?

If you are looking for a big traditional-style Mexican restaurant to bring the whole family to it is Lalo’s. Full bar menu for the adults. Like any Latin restaurant there is a little learning curve in finding your go-to favorites on the menu. There is a Hamburger Menu, fries and yummy looking onion rings too.

Enjoyed 2 well served ceviche tostadas. 1 fish the other shrimp. Very filling and fresh. Look forward to trying something new on my next visit. The server was very attentive.
