Normally pretty good but they just gave us a pizza steak without cheese and I called and they sent another WITHOUT cheese. I called again and the liar on the phone said they mixed it in. LIE. The guy who tried to eat it said both sandwiches had absolutely zero cheese. Not one molecule. Mozzarella is supposed to be on top. DUH

The best chicken parmigiana on the planet!! Awesome pizza too!! Our family orders from them quite often. They know who we are and they take good care of us! The service is excellent!! I love that it is right on Main Street. It’s very quaint and it’s nice to stop in and eat, the atmosphere is very comfortable. Well Worth five stars!!! Food made by true Italian chef!! Writing about Cafe Fontana has made me so hungry!!!

I attended a family reception there for my Uncle who passed away. He was the oldest living (92) National Guard in NJ. The honors were on point. We were in the back room and it was wonderful. The food was hot and delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We designed a sweet 16 here. And although the space is not updated the service is beyond spectacular. If you are looking for that old World Italian, Princess and the Frog kind of theme this is your place. The owner was so amazing and his family…the way they took care of us it was definitely worth going to check out. Also they have a small catering place on the side that sells authentic Italian food takeout and it is beyond delicious!

I order from Fontanas at least once a week. Until recently, the food has always been good. They used to have the best meatball Subs around. Last night, Friday, I ordered what must have been the worst meatball sandwich I ever had. The meatballs were cut in half, so there was half as much meat. There was almost no sauce on it, and very little cheese. To make matters worse the bread was stale. The undersized serving of onion rings was overdone, and completely dry. It’s pretty hard to mess up a meatball sub and onion rings, but they found a way.
