Awesome BBQ! Had a pork plate with macaroni and cheese and baked beans – so good. Added on a slice of peanut butter pie and was not disappointed. Dining area was nice and clean with good group seating option. One of the best BBQ places in Alabama in my opinion!

Dine-in is open and the service was fast. The food was delicious, especially the pulled pork and the chicken. We ordered the small Gibson plate with three meats and was enough food for two hungry meat-loving adults. Perfect balance of juicy, charred, and tender! The fries were also crispy and the coconut pie was just to die for. However the briskets were on the dry side and harder to chew..overall a great meal and I am looking forward to trying more items next time:)

Nice place for lunch on a cold day. Spent the morning at the soccer fields and needed a warm meal. The loaded baked potato sounded like the way to go. All three of us got the loaded potato with BBQ chicken. Topped with a loitke red and white sauce and it did the job. Friendly service completed the experience.

I lived here back in the 1970’s and loved their bbq. Now it doesn’t have the hickory smoked flavor. The white sauce is runny. I was so disappointed. I think to win all the awards they must cook it right for the contests and not smoked correctly for customers.

Had the brisket and it was delicious, so tender you can cut it with a fork, several sauces on table to chose from. The baked beans and fries were fresh and good. The slaw was a disappointment for me, I couldn’t eat it. I still highly recommend this place.

My wife and I dropped in for lunch today. The staff was nice, the store was clean, and well laid out. When we ordered, our meal was ready quickly. All the food was fresh and tasty. I had pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad. It was all good. I’d readily go back again.
