The entrance here is a little hard to turn left into, or drive across W Old Shakopee to get to it. So, be careful. It is connected to the parking lot of the MGM mini-mall, so I turned turned right into W Old Shakopee, went down the way, then I turned left into that parking lot much more easily.

Hard to beat this place on a hot summer day. The thin mint girl scout cookie blizzard is quite good, but trying my daughter’s very cherry chip blizzard, I have to say hers was better. Another family member has a chocolate dipped cone and really enjoyed that. The dining room is back open. Woohoo!

This location is an absolute joke. They will get your order wrong and you will wait ages to get your food. I ordered ahead on the app, couldn’t pick it up because the lobby was locked even though there were customers inside. Decided to go through the drive thru to get it. They had no record of my order, or didn’t know how to look it up. It’s hard to say because they were so incompetent. When they finally gave me some food, they gave me the completely wrong order even though they asked me to repeat it 5+ times. If I could have cancelled my order, I would have when the lobby was locked when I got there. I will never return to this location

We keep trying the Dairy Queen on Old Shakopee but are repeatedly disappointed. Bad service and long waits. Today I went and I was initially encouraged. The voice on the intercom for the drive up service was friendly and courteous. That has not been the case in the past.He continued to be but there seems to be a break down in the kitchen part of this location. I don’t know if it’s lack of direction or poor training. I ordered one thing and it took 15 minutes!! It’s too bad. It’s a great location.

I don’t know who owns or runs this DQ but,it’s been closed 1-2 hrs before posted hrs. It’s always out of buster bars. The drive through has been closed. At 6:00pm. I will not be going here anymore too many disappointing trips. Don’t know how it stays open, very poorly run business.

We arrived on a Tuesday night after my son’s baseball game at about 8:00pm. I had my family of 4 and my parents with. There was 3 people at the counter. Three more walked in behind us. Before we could order one employee ( maybe the supervisor) said very loudly “I thought we locked the door?” Well, the sign on the door said that the store was open until 10:00PM and there was nothing to say that the dining room closed at any certain time. So, I ask why would the door be locked? There was also at least 5 employees working at the time.

We quit going to this DQ over the summer because they were always out of product and terrible slow service. Decided to try it again on a cool rainy Aug evening and it was still terribly slow and the up keep of the outside of the building was a mess. Will not be going here again. It took 25 minutes for a small malt and kid size Blizzard. The ownership really has to make some changes.

I was so excited to find out that there was a DQ close to my house now that I live in bloomington! I stopped one evening on the way home and got myself a M&M blizzard which was awesome and an order of cheese curds which were great. People were friendly service was fast great place to go! I got a 4pc chicken strips meal with a blizzard. The chicken was ok but the fries were definitely old. The service was fast and the inside was fairly clean. They blasted music which threw me off, otherwise it was ok.

If i could give this location zero stars i would, we just moved to the area and our first visit to this location left a bad taste, rude person in the drive thru would not let me finish my order and kept interrupting me, was told to pull to the window to place my order, get the sundaes and the strawberry one was a mess and the 2 blizzards we ordered had ice cream dripping all over the place! The kids were loud and screaming in the background while people are trying to order,I went again this evening and when I got to the window I was handed the ice cream cone, I’m in a cast on my right hand and was alone in the vehicle, the ice cream cone broke and I asked for a bowl or cup to put it in and during all this the rude girl was trying to hand me more items clearly seeing I only have one hand to grab things with, when I stated the obvious she slammed the drive thru window and didn’t even offer a drink carrier or anything when I said thank you she closed the window and walked away. I don’t think I will ever go back to this location again. Rude staff and just over all not impressed with the quality of service or food. Worst place ever doesn’t even deserve a single star
