This is truly a family restaurant. My son and I have been back several times in the past few weeks. It’s a great little spot to take your family, where they treat you like family, and it’s ran by a great family of employees. I honestly don’t think I’ve had a bad meal and we’ve always had a great experience entertained by our amazing waitress Allison.

It’s was quiet, one waiter. Fried Fish, shrimp, grilled fish and fried pickles were good. My friend vegetables were hard. I asked for my vegetables to be steamed to just soften but they came back soggy and in pieces. Fried okra has no flavor, stuffed crabs only tasted like the vegetables used to make stuffing but no taste. Don’t order the dirty rice, don’t. Salad was fresh. Boudain balls were ok. Prices reasonable $$ still wouldn’t come back. Only stumbled across this place

When I was younger, years ago I ate at Baytown seafood and only remembered not liking the food. Today I was really wanting some comfort food and gumbo sounded good. So looking at my Uber eats options, (can’t stand uber eats) Baytown seafood popped up, so I decided to give it another try since it’s been so long. I have to say the Gumbo was really good! I also ordered a fish and shrimp plate, also very pleased with this. My only complaint would be the dirty rice, it needs some seasoning. Well until next time, signing off….. Two Peas

I’m trying to understand how this place has 4 stars. The food was so subpar and my whole catfish (fried) was soggy, my okra had zero flavor (some were barely cooked), and the only thing I enjoyed (without complaint) was the fries. I wouldn’t return to any Baytown Seafood if someone bought it for me.

Si we went in and everyone was super nice. However shortly after being seated my buddy had a roach crawl off the table on his arm. He flung it off and we looked over at a table across the way to see two more roaches crawling across the top of it. We hadn’t even received drinks yet so we got up and walked out. BE AWARE INFESTED BY ROACHES.

It took 30-45 minutes for food and then it was soggy and greasy. Worst fish I’ve never eaten. Couldn’t eat it. Oysters were nasty. Shrimp was ok, not great. Wouldn’t recommend.

Food was not up to par with what you would expect from a seafood restaurant in Houston. The shrimp was good, breading was different. However the breading on the fish was not edible and resorted to scraping it off and eating the middle. Dishes are not busted off the tables quickly as there were tables with dirty dishes the entire time we were there. Will not be returning.
