Called in order & she said 20 mins & it was hot & fresh & perfect timing! The Crew was all smiles & friendly. Got me a Cat & 3Wing combo with Xtra mild on everything. I ate this DELICIOUS MEAL in the car in like 5 mins I wish I savored it more but it was SO PERFECT. Catfish crispy seasoned & cooked 2 perfection as well as the wings. Juicy crunchy crispy perfection ! Everything I come thru Dyer I WILL BE STOPPING HERE! I haven’t had such delicious perfect heralds since I had the one in Glenwood Illinois years ago. You all need to come to Crown Point, IN like yesterday! We will welcome you with open arms!

There was too much bread on the chicken, the fries were hot, and the sauces were terrible. Just terrible chicken was hot to dry and burnt, and I had a big order and ended up wasting it. But that’s okay because I will not be coming here again. That’s just me, only one customer, but every other customer seems to be happy. The food here is always great. This was my first time at the private venue there and it was really nice. The bare area was a great addition however I would recommend getting more and bigger TVs. The big tiger was on but all they had was a small tv to watch it on. Still enjoyed my self.

Very stingy with mild sauce on chicken as usual. Sauce barely coated the chicken and my fries didn’t have sauce on them at all. I had to add my own sauce from home. Not sure if it’s measured when adding or how it’s determined when added. The slaw wasn’t fresh and tastes old it’s as if slaw place in container with no mayo.

Ordered over the phone and was told my food would be ready in about 15min. Got there, food not ready, but was told that it would be ready in a few minutes. Food was ready, but no one called my name. I waited about another 20min. Then I decided to check my order. It was done, but was put in the warmer. Mind you I never left out of the restaurant.

My wife is white and because of that the rude employee and manager said they could not service a large order because we have a family of eight? she said we would have to bring in all eight family members for them to service us! even though the lady in front of us walked out with two trays, and they have a sign for catering on the front. Even though if I went online I could order whatever I want and pick it up. My wife skin was her sin… I guess smoking weed in the parking lot is more important than feeding families!

Yep you will have a wait but the exchange for your time is food that is hot, fresh and worth your dollar. Do you know how long it has been since, as a former Chicago resident, I have had Harold chicken this good. They are one of the originals; not just a perpetrator carrying the name and cooking subpar chicken like the one in Hyde Park or several downtown or north side locations in Chicago. Yuck!!! But this place…I’ll be returning. I found the young people who worked there very professional and competent. I will be returning. Very grateful I only love 15 minutes away

Don’t go in a weekend when it’s busy and different cooks. I ordered shrimp and catfish; was overcooked and hard as rocks. I pass 2 Harold’s to get to this one because normally the food is delicious and seasoned and cooked well. Not on 5-19-23. I am referred numerous people to this location. Called, spoke to the Manager briefly who said she would return my call or one of the 2 owners would call back. Never happened after wasting my $ and gas to get here.
