My family and a couple friends visited Beedie Head’s Bar-B-Que on a Wednesday afternoon. Total of 5 “adults”. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Beedie Head himself, who was absolutely amazing. The 5 of us ordered a good variety from the different menu options available as not everything was available on a Wednesday afternoon, which was understandable for a smaller country Bar-B-Que place. Everything was cooked to order, accurate, served piping hot, and most importantly, Delicious!! Pulled Pork Sandwich, pork chop sandwich, fried chicken, potato salad, fried corn nuggets, onion rings, butter beans, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. We have work nearby over the next month and will 100% be visiting Beedie Head’s soon and absolutely recommend to anyone in the Milledgeville, GA area.

Visited Beedie Head’s on recommendation of two friends. They were right, it’s a hidden barbeque gem. The pulled pork sandwich we had was incredible, very unique delicious sauce but not required. The pork by itself was great. And, the wings were delicious also, perfectly spiced. Can’t wait to go back to try their ribs and some sides!!!

I called at 6:10pm on Saturday 7/22. Mapquest said they close at 8pm. I call ahead to make sure because it’s a 20 mins drive for me to them. The young lady who answered (With very curt and low tonation) said they were closing at 7pm tonight. No problem right? Gives me time to drive there and get my order, biggie. I asked her did she have pulled pork left today, she said yes. Cool. I ask her do they sell by the pound, she says “she don’t know. She thinks it’s only sandwiches.” Okay. She says, “Well, what do you want?” I said say, “Well, let me look at your menu real quick online, get my order and call you right back.

We stopped on our trip between NC and FL and are we glad we did! The food was excellent. I got my usual 1st meal for a BBQ place, pulled pork sandwich, potato salad and baked beans. Everything was great. They also had butter beans and that was a hard decision as it has been a while since I had some good ones. I will get those on our next stop. Yes, already planning to stop again. I highly recommend this place.

GO AND EAT AT THIS PLACE!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and thr prices were reasonable.. The ribs were tender, fried chicken was seasoned and the pull pork sandwich was delicious (the sauce is tangy and good!). We had baked beans, mac and cheese and potatoe salad…alll were good. And to top it off the customer service from the owner was FABULOUS! It’s a small establishment wirh to go options only. It’s only an 8 minute drive from Milledgeville…it’s worth the drive!
