Opened as a Restaurant and Bar in the 1960’s by a flamboyant Mary Dow (as described by the Boston . com 12/29/2003 article) Waterfront Mary’s has been described as the Cheers of the Webster Community.
Today the venue feature live bands and music several times per week, themed party nights, friendly staff and bar fare food. Complemented by many regulars, numerous boat docks and a laid back atmosphere it is a place to go to feel a sense of belonging and to sit back and unwind while taking in the serene view of Webster Lake.

Very informal place but great place to have drinks on a nice summer day as there is outdoor seating with a small tiki bar and they have a person singing who was very good the day we went..we did not order food but I did see some dishes and it did not look like anything special. Would say food is average Fairly limited menu. It was nice having drinks so close to the water. Beautiful views of the lake. Recommend for drinks and if you want basic apps and food.

Although we didn’t eat (next time!), this is a really nice lakefront place. Located RIGHT on the lake, it has tons of outdoor seating, great views inside, and super service. Our server (“Coates”) was very nice and gave us a bunch of area places to visit on our next trip that way! Highly recommend if you like a view of the water on a nice day!

Local eatery on the lake. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available but not every table outside has an umbrella so it can get quite hot. Tasty freshly made fiesta chicken salad. Fish and chips were a little greasy. Pizza not available when we got there for lunch but definitely would like to give it a try. For bikers: dirt parking lot .

Beautiful views and loved the outdoor seating but was truly disappointed in this place. I planned a Jeep event here for everyone to gather for food and drinks and there were only two waitresses on staff for a packed full place. Drinks were inconsistent and food was ice cold when received. I sadly won’t be planning any other events here.

Went recently… Walked to the outdoor area where a waitress greeted us and asked if we needed menus.. We said yes, sat down and waited about 20 minutes before I decided to just walk in to order drinks. Waitress saw me and apologized for “ignoring us” ordered our drinks and looked at the menu… Pizza was not available because it was “too hot outside”… Got our drinks and waited another 30ish minutes and the waitress never came outside, walked in again to get drinks myself and the waitress saw me and asked if we needed drinks.. Ordered second drink and asked for check..

First time ever at Waterfront Mary’s on Webster Lake in Webster, Massachusetts. Oh my! My wife and I sat outside on the water in the gazebo. It was a beautiful sunny day with ducks floating by us, and a little girl customer feeding the fish with food from a free dispenser. Our brick oven cheese, tomato, basil pizza was DELICIOUS. The young lady waitress was happy and fun. We talked about our motorcycles while ordering. There are also 5 extended aluminum docks for those arriving by sea. Why the “Oh my?” Waterfront Mary’s is a must visit eatery. You will enjoy a by the sea experience experience and the food is excellent.
