For many Italian-Americans, the words pizza and pie have often been interchangeable. At The Original Italian Pie, we’ve taken this to a new level. In our birthplace of New Orleans, we were so often named “Best Pizza” in various independent surveys, that locals created a nickname for our restaurant and began referring to us as “The Pie.”
As our business grew and our menu expanded, The Pie began to be known for our variety of delicious authentic Italian dishes, in addition to our outstanding gourmet pizzas. So when you hear us say, “You gotta try The Pie”… we are The Pie! Serving gourmet pizzas and Italian specialties with a New Orleans kick since 1992.

I order a calzone for delivery when on the road for work in Kenner, LA. I’ve never experienced something like this before. It simply wasn’t cooked. The cheese was still in its shredded form. It hadn’t been cooked! Not more than a couple of minutes anyway. A real disappointment that they would let a product like this go out the door. Feeding my kids out of the hotel vending machine now!

We were looking for a different pizza restaurant other than Pizza hut or Dominoes and found The Italian Pie so ordered pizza for first time last week and got The Italian pie and the Shrimp Garlic this was the best pizza we have ever eaten so this week August 5 2023 I was wanting a good BBQ pizza so ordered the Mr Piggle Worth BBQ and the Italian Pie OH MY Gosh!!!! The BEST BBQ Pizza I’ve have ever had plenty of Toppings on every pizza Give this place a 5 Stars if could give a 10 it would be a 10 Plus. This will be a weekly pizza meal instead of a once in awhile since the pizza is so Wonderful.Great Job Italian Pie…

The Chicken Parmesan dinner was excellent. I ordered it 5 minutes ahead of my arrival . The staff were on their game because it was a short wait, the food was hot , the portion was generous, bagged securely and handed to me with a smile ! Only 4 stars because it is a little tight to park .

Near many airport hotels, open on Sunday when many were closed, Be aware the Mediterranean wrap is huge and easy enough for two people everything was very tasty, meat ball spaghetti with garlic bread was very tasty as well.

This was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Apart from that time I was so hungry I’d have enjoyed leaves! The ingredients on this thin crust combination pizza we’re packed on! It wasn’t busy at 5pm on Saturday night which is expected. If you’re going to get one thing perfect I’d prefer the food. Staff were friendly, prices very good for fresh ingredients.

Good food, but it definitely needs to be upgraded on seating cushions. It’s horrible, and the floor tiles are broken, I hurt my ankle when walking and didn’t see the tiles because a chair was somewhat there. I’ve been going there for years, and it’s in bad shape that needs to be updated !!! But food is always amazing. Hopefully, they can fix simple things so people feel more comfortable

Good here is always delicious but service ughhhhh not so much. Felt like I was a burden to the lady working the register. Walked in and stood by the register 20 minutes before anyone came out of the back. She only came out of the back because the customer behind me turns out to be a genius and call the business phone. Not even an apology for us standing there and even worse an attitude like we were inconveniencing her

Extremely bland. Bread was just plain bad. The Italian meats on the sandwich somehow lacked the normal amount of salt such meats have. Garlic bread was essentially a plate size sauce-less cheese pizza with very little garlic. Alfredo was bland. The restaurant itself is immaculate, clean and has great staff though.

I bought 3 peanut butter cookies that were on the counter. Whoever made those cookies needs to pick up a cook book. These had little to no sugar.
