This was a quick lunch stop before my drive to Phoenix. Stopped into Benny’s and had their Sonoran red chili burrito. It was packed full of meat and very good. In hindsight I should have gotten some sides to go with it as it was a little too one note in taste but it was very good. The salsa and chips were excellent.

Simple place…Some reviews suggest you don’t get chips and salsa but they do come right after your drink. And the salsa was delicious! Salsa and hot sauce were clearly made fresh, so good I asked for more. Everything else was alright, typical barbacoa tacos pretty good. Standard rice and beans. I left satisfied and the only watress was doing a great job. Seemed a little over priced for what it was but the salsa made it worth while and I live down the road so no complaints!

First time coming to Bennys for pozole and got the best bowl by far. Asked for oregano and crushed pepper and the waitress brought out a tiny bowl for oregano and a grinding block for the crushed peppers. Real authentic in my opinion, best dam pozole ever! I’ve been to many other restaurants that serve pozole and none come close to the experience I had here.
