I feel like this place had horrible bean and meat nachos and the carbitas could have been more seasoned and crunchy. The steak torta was good and the red salsa the was served with the chips was good. Service was not that great.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant very very good food very good service people are all really nice there really enjoyed it we will return. We were in Ruidoso cuz we had just got our daughter from Las Cruces NMSU go Aggies and we stayed the rest of the weekend and Ruidoso as always and as always loved it we will be returning to this restaurant again

Delicious! Great decor! Clean and inviting. Something different and exciting. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with our meals. The queso was awesome perfectly balanced… Not too hot… Not too mild. One of the best relleños I’ve had in a while. The tacos are so good and crispy. The beans are divine. Oh good golly the Churro Dessert You need helpers to share but… It’s the Bomb !!!

My first time in Ruidoso with a plethora of restaurants from which to choose. Turned into this quaint looking spot (Jalisco style) and was very pleased. Friendly and attentive service, flavorful margaritas and some of the best carnitas I’ve ever eaten. Diverse menu with lots choices. They offer a breakfast buffet as well if you are passing through here in the morning. Thank you.

Salsa tasted like a cheap jar salsa. More tomato sauce than a salsa. People who eat good Mexican food can certainly tell homemade from pouring it out of a jar. I had the taco and it had no Mexican spices in the meat. They actually used the old white part of the tomato as part of the cho callpped tomato. Gross callvBland. Most dishes looked soaked in that red chili sauce. My husband had the Green Aguave buritto with carne asada and it also was bland with no flavor. The chips were the cheapest out of the bag tortilla chips. They were chewy and not even warm. Our server was sweet but totally inexperienced. Only checked on us once more at the end of the meal. We were so disappointed. We were looking to find a new delicious Mexican restaurant when visiting Ruidoso. THIS WAS NOT IT. Don’t eat here if you like Mexican food

They had a buffet for $14.50 and I went for it. Tried a little bit of everything. Delicious, especially the menudo. They had menudo with and without hominy. Sat in the back of the “pickup seats” in front. Inside has great colorful decorations and good TVs. Lots of good Mexican beers including Indio my favorite.

Food was muy bueno. What wasn’t was the language barrier of our server. Nice, but got my order wrong and corrected it quickly. Servers need to have the ability to understand the customer the first time and every time, including the cashier position.
