Loved the food. Flavor was 10/10. I got smothered pork chops , yellow rice , string beans and mac and cheese and a sweet corn bread. I also got an extra side of broccoli and cheese , which was $4.45. That’s the only complaint . The extra side was only 1 scoop really. My whole meal came out to $24 and some change. I would go again , but not that often because of the price . And I only got 1 pork chop but it was big

I am visiting Tampa, buying a car. I left the dealership and was looking for a place to eat lunch. Looked up places near me and it popped up, advertising their soul food. I actually passed the place, attached to a lodge, but I think that was my fault. Made the block and went on in. It is cafeteria style, you go through the line choosing your food items.

I ordered the Oxtail dinner with yellow rice, collard greens & Mac n cheese. I added a side of cabbage and a side of the smothered pork chops. I got the banana pudding for dessert. The food was flavorful, but I enjoyed the smothered pork chops and cabbage the best. The customer service could Definitely use improvement. They lacked professionalism and were not friendly. I chose to dine in and wasn’t asked once while seated if I needed anything and I was the only customer that was seated at that time of my dining experience. I would have given a 4 star review but the lack of service was a turn off.
