Recommended to us from a town away. It’s a food truck on a lot, with several others. Man it was good! We had brisket, ribs, and burnt ends. Little area in the center, with picnic tables for sitting. I would go here all the time, if I was local. Awesome 1000 gallon offset smoker going while we were there.

What a cool spot out in Fate – right off of 30, it’s in the heart of downtown in a cool little truck yard. The food is WORTH the trip!

I’ve been scoping out this place since I moved to Rockwall Texas in April. Pass by this joint sometimes and could smell the BBQ. Reviews are insanely positive. Pictures of the brisket and Mac and cheese look mouth watering! It was the one thing I wanted so badly. So why the 3 stars?

Outside dining fun for the family. Must try! Flavorful sides and BBQ. Worth the drive. Brisket was awesome and ribs were cook to perfection. We will go back for sure. You have to try the bacon wrapped blueberry cream cheese jalapenos! Unexpected tasty treat!

Thanks for an amazing lunch today! The brisket and burnt ends were delicious. And I really liked the potato salad. My husband said the Mac and cheese had just the right amount of pepper. Thanks for letting us try the new sausage!!

BBQ worthy of a 4 hour wait without the 4 hour wait.

The burnt end brisket burgers are AMAZING! If you know how much work goes into a brisket to get it right, you will definitely love this burger. If you never made a brisket, you still will love this burger!

Today was day 1 joining a good friend of mine for our monthly search of greatness in BBQ cuisine. These guys did not disappoint. Brisket was amazing and maybe the best I’ve had. Poppers were incredible. House made sausage was off the hook. We tried nearly everything and it was all great. If you haven’t been, then go as soon as you can. Good group of guys as well. This is 5 star period.

In my husband’s words: “this is what I expect from Texas bbq!” He had the chopped brisket sandwich and I has the turkey. Both were delicious. The brisket beans have a nice kick and the Mac n cheese is good. We will have to go back to try more. I want burnt ends next time.

Had the Cowtown Contender Double Cheese, Double Brisket Patty Smashburger with Bacon, Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Green Chiles. Probably the Best Burger anywhere. So many Flavor Explosions.!!! Also Phenomenal Brisket, Pork Ribs and PB&J Pork Belly Burnt Ends. And the Delicious Nana’s Pudding for dessert. If you’ve never been to Smoak Town, GO!!! Make the trip!!!
