All the food and cocktails were incredible here. Very well made and lots of flavor. I dont regret trying for a special occassion, but it was probably a one and done for me personally due to cost/portion sizes. That is the only reason I did 1 less star (which I hesistated to do). For example, the ribeye didn’t even come with a vegetable or proper side in my opinion for being 65 dollars. It came with more meat, which was delicious but odd. I ordered the iberico pork, and it was delicious, but again, it comes down to portions size for cost. The fried olive appetizer was an absolute star, though!! Eat beforehand and come for a special occasion, but maybe not a regularly visited location 🙂

Very nice place (but with a casual vibe) on the near east side, just north of Woodruff Place. They have well presented, Instagram worthy, appetizers and main entrees, and regular specials including the Wednesday $25 special with a beer/shot or glass of wine. Service is always attentive. Cocktails are fantastic as well. The place is certainly quite pricey but justifiable when you want a nice experience with well presented dishes/drinks with great flavors.

We got the Pink Oysters and the sauce they were in was amazing. The server suggested a perfect wine pairing. Then we had the bone marrow, and lamb which were also both delicious. It was a nice romantic date night and we sat at the chef’s counter which is like having a cooking show to watch while you eat

Had dinner at this place last night. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was great, the food was delicious. Was nice to see the chefs in action from our table. The Brussels sprouts-delicious, the octopus-delicious! Nice deserts, pumpkin seed ice-cream and passion fruit sorbet. I wish they had frozen margaritas though. The one on the rocks was not bad.

Great service with creative and delicious dishes. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. The squid ink pasta was perfectly prepared and fresh. Another dish we ordered was the beef tenderloin (not pictured) and it was so tender and yummy. The Desert was outstanding! The key lime crumbles ice cream is dreamy. We really enjoyed our evening here.

WOW! We rented out Beholder’s Pink Room for our wedding dinner and WOW! Not only was the food f-ing delicious (as always!) but Josh and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. Leading up to the event, they were responsive and super easy to work with. The service was impeccable and we dream of the six course meal (again- f-ing delicious) and perfect wine pairing. Thank you! Not sure how I haven’t given beholder a review yet – we go monthly, throughout the pandemic. If it’s currently Tuesday- Saturday stop searching for restaurants and just go get dinner here. The most inventive, constantly changing menu in Indy! If you just want to test the waters go grab their Wednesday/Thursday special which is usually dinner and a drink for $20!

Local Investor
Excellent cuisine. The menu is extensive and seasonal, and it is of particularly high quality. Definitely a fine dining experience. It can be pricey, but it’s worth it, and they have different deals on different nights, so check them out before you book. It comes highly recommended.
