This was a really great dinner! The menu is completely packed with scrumptious delights. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The Cookbook is extremely family friendly, which is great. The Ukrainian dumplings were very flavorful and the pizza was savory. Veda’s cake is both authentic and delicious. I couldn’t more highly recommend the Cookbook!

Small and warm space. Overall food was good, enjoyable and reasonably priced. We had pizza, pasta and a dessert. Also offers wines that are outside of the norm and the one we tried from Hungary was great.

A stellar experience from the get-go. Seated outside, nice two top. Emily was our server and I think she’s one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Had the watermelon gazpacho — so refreshing and HOLY FLAVOR! Wild mushroom ravioli, DAMN delicious! And for dessert we took the Veda cake home. Yum!

Highly recommended. Best dining experience I’ve had in Ketchum. Vita and Burke (the owners) are so friendly, conversational, and knowledgeable about every little detail of the menu (including the wine list). Cookbook boasts a comfortable, casual, welcoming ambience and fresh, delicious food made with quality ingredients.

Phenomenal intimate restaurant. Very small dining area. Food is excellent. Although I visited in the Winter it looks like a great place to eat outside in the Summer.

What a quaint little hideaway in Ketchum, Idaho. When paying it a visit during the summer, Cookbook provides an endearingly cozy outdoor dining oasis. Fresh, delicious dishes and attentive service make it an easy go-to for me, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for anything from a light salad, to a rich pasta dish.

Lived locally for a year & this is hands down the best restaurant in town. Fresh ingredients with plates full of flavor & love. Veda and Burke were inviting and welcomed us like family. We had mushroom pizza, grey goose pasta, mushroom ravioli & two pieces of their 7 layer cake. We couldn’t resist! I will not forget the food or experience here for a long time. Perfect place to have a date night. We will definitely be back soon!

I really don’t understand how this restaurant has such high reviews. The food was really expensive for the portion sizes and honestly some of the worst pasta my husband and I have ever had. We were seated near a bunch of families instead of the more intimate two people tables, and the wait staff seemed to be more concerned about their “wealthier” clients. We will not be coming back to this restaurant.

I had the absolute best food here! We started with the pelmeni as an appetizer. The dough was so soft, the pork was seasoned perfectly, and the butter sauce brought it all together. I would say it’s a must order off of the menu! Both entrees were so good! Super fresh ingredients made REALLY well. We finished off with Veda’s cake. Such a well balanced dessert that wasn’t too sweet but had rich flavors.

Lovely outdoor seating; amazing, friendly service that made us feel like we were eating at their home; menu has a wonderful selection and a well-paired wine list; all homemade desserts; easy street parking.
