Phenomenal food at a great price and Friendly workers- will absolutely be going back! My only criticism is that there were a few flies in the restaurant that were annoying – a few fly traps would easily fix that small problem

A decent spot and very tasty food and the owner or staff were great people. The only reason I give it a 4 star was due to the cost which on the sign it said one thing but when it came time to pay it seems the patron just added some arbitrary numbers which even when I calculated it made no sense but I paid and made no scene. Let’s see 2 small or was it medium carry out boxes combination oxtail and brown stew chicken and two drinks $43…. oh and I add a $5 tip so $48.

Oxtail was great and rice and peas good also. Nice little restaurant with polite and helpful server. Looks like a family run Establishment which we need more of. People that put a lot of love in their cuisine. 1st time there but definitely not the last. Awesome

Food was pretty good. We got the oxtail plate. The vibe inside was kind of weird. We walked in and the older black lady was all laughing and joking with another customer. When it was our turn to order, it felt like we were bothering her, we got the blank death stare. The older gentleman in the back hooking up the order was kind enough to show the plates, now he was friendlier. 1Luv Island Restaurant. You may need to find a better host/cashier.
