Pretty picture, but lacking flavor. We had gone there for an early dinner, on a Thursday, and there was hardly anyone there. We ordered calamari, which was ok. We also got the alligator meal, fried shrimp and fish. Sadly disappointing… the coleslaw was bland and our rolls were cold for how empty it was, I would’ve expected better quality. Tried it once, and that was enough.

Recommended! I enjoyed a meal here with friends while stuck at PTL. Delicious Fresh fried fish, shrimp and french fries. The gator bites were on point. Sweet tea was perfectly not too sweet. DO NOT order the coleslaw, it was cold but limp and not seasoned maybe, idk, coulda needed salt. Our waitress Emily did great although she was new to the business.

The inside was clean and had its own theme, but we don’t recommend the dishes my wife and I selected: SS house burger, SS ocean bag. Although the seafood (lobster tail) was fresh, the crab boil seasoning didn’t have a good flavor. And the butter seemed to be poor quality. The burger wasn’t very juicy and had an odd flavor as they add Cajun seasoning to it. I will say the gator bites were tasty, however, and the service was great.

If you are African American the food is not going to be up to par for your taste buds! Food didn’t have any flavor to me. It almost made me throw up. The servers are really nice though. The taste is definitely catering to…. You know who!! . If your African American go to “Straight Drop Seafood” Downtown Memphis 10 mins away.

Nice wait staff with great customer service. I had the cat fish and shrimp. It was excellent. The wait staff deserve a bonus. If you are the owner and are reading my review. Treat the girls to a day at a spa. They deserve it.

I got the chicken tender po boy and fries. It was absolutely delicious. My husband got a seafood bag with 2 lobster tails, a pound of mussels, half pound of snow crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. He said it was the best he has ever had. If we travel through that area again we will definitely stop and eat there. I highly recommend!
