We took our daughter out for a birthday breakfast this morning. Destiny was our waitress and when found out it was our daughter’s birthday she made such a BIG deal over her! My daughter felt super special and the staff even sang happy birthday to her. Destiny brought my daughters waffle out with a “9” written in cool whip with sprinkles Not only did she go out of her way to make my child feel special, she is an exceptional waitress!! So thank you Destiny and Lucedale Waffle House!

We’ve eaten at this Waffle House many times and have always had exemplary service and enjoyed delicious food. To expound on customer service, last week at at very wee hours of the morning I found myself waiting in a hospital parking lot after my husband was involved in an accident. I knew it would be hours and hours before hearing anything, so I drove to the Waffle House and placed a takeout order. When I picked it up, not only was the food so well prepared and comforting, but Scott and Shay were so very kind and caring. Without prying, they learned a bit about my situation and offered the kindest words. I’m very lucky to say the morning went very well at the hospital and I went home happy with a healthy husband, but Scott and Shay’s kind gestures and conversation truly made a difference in a very tough night. I can say this restaurant consistently has fast, good service and great food, but it also has some great people running the show. We will visit again soon.

Great location. I believe they have changed their coffee. It now tastes like hot water and you can see clear to the bottom of the cup.will no longer pay $2 for hot water. Krystal is not a good server. Be sure to get everything you need when she brings your food.

Excellent service, we were served right away and the food was brought out fast and hot. I had the All Star Special with sausage and hash browns. The sausage was a little dry but overall not bad. The chocolate chip waffle was great and the texture was superb. Would definitely recommend.

Waffle houses are all pretty much the same. I did order a steak and eggs, hash browns. It was done perfectly, and so we’re the eggs. Service was great. Handicap friendly, with plenty of free parking. Nice job!

I’ve normally had a very good experience here at my local Waffle House. Our waitress Olivia seemed to not know much of the menu and forgot to give us our drinks until I said something to her. She proceeded to bring drinks to table and spilled most of the coffee on the floor and then brought waters with barely any ice in the cups. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with no meat and my husband ordered 2 eggs scrambled and a chocolate chip waffle. We got our food and my husband got scrambled eggs, toast and grits which he didn’t order the toast or grits and then asked the server about his waffle and she proceeded to say she ‘forgot’ about the waffle… needless to say we were disappointed in our service this morning. Olivia needs more training and needs to be more efficient and responsive in serving.

The food is good as usual, but the past two experiences my friends and co-workers are met with rude workers. Whether it was being ignored at our table for refills for almost an hour and a half, or being rudely asked to leave due to the way they get paid, we were not met with the treatment a guest should get.
