New to the area, and my wife was craving fried fish. This place happened to be really close to our new apartment, and so we gave it a shot. Do not order any of their fried offerings. It was the worst fried seafood that we’ve ever had. The whiting was overcooked and had a leathery texture. The batter was burnt, and the meat was chewy. The honey garlic wings tasted old, smelled putrid, and had very little sauce on them. All 10 wings were bruised. The shrimp and fries were the only things edible, but they were of the previously breaded then frozen variety. In fact, everything was previously frozen. Nothing was fresh. Maybe the wings when they first got ’em, but by the time they were served to us, they were garbage. The fish, shrimp, and fries were all un-seasoned. It all tasted like it had been fried in old grease.

Went there this past Thursday. The outside looked a little sketchy but I still wanted to try it. When walking in, you Could smell the great aroma of seafood and spices. The man greeted us and we placed our order. The food came out and it was HOT!!! That was the best seafood bag I’ve had in a long time. I got crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs. They definitely gave me my moneys worth. I will be coming back. 10/10 recommend.

I heard about this place from a coworker, my wife and I love sea food boils. Went on a Saturday around 4 pm, no wait was greeted and seated right away drinks were brought while we looked over the menu. Order and 10 mins our food came out hot and delicious. Price was great for the service and meal. Will be returning.

In all fairness I have to say the experience was good. There was a continuous coming and going of customers both dine in and take out. The place was clean and the service was great. My appetite was may have been off because it was a seafood restaurant and I kept thinking about steak. Overall it would be worth a shot.

I was so ready to give this restaurant glowing reviews. The inside of the restaurant looks 10 times better than you would think from the outside. It was extremely clean from what i could see and it smelled good. I ordered fried shrimp, fish, and fries which ran around $11. So for this price i thought my box was going to be over flowing with food. They advertised 2 pieces of fish with the combo and i received what i would deem to be about a half a piece of fish. Yes there where two pieces of fish in the box, but anybody who knows seafood understands that this is not it. The fish also was dark around the sides, like it was reheated from a previous batch, maybe the day before. I rated them as okay, because what i was provided was tasty, however, I did not get my moneys worth at all. Also when listing seafood items on a menu traditionally a basket means that the meat comes with fries, however, in their case in order to get fried you mush pay an additional $2. I do feel that the seafood boil prices are good, so maybe that is the audience that they are going for. I am from Maryland and i know my seafood. If you are thinking of going for the first time i say try the boil.

We had been ordering from umami’s/boiling crab house for the past 3 years and it used to be my favorite crab boil spot, but they have changed the way they seasoned over the past year and it is no longer as good. It seemed that they used more garlic/ butter/ and real ingredients and now they used only powdered seasonings. The last time we went three of us got sick and had diarrhea and threw up throughout the not. We will most likely not be returning.

Went in, food took a little to come in but the wait is definitely worth it. Great prices and sweet tea was extra good. The shrimp and the spiciness is almost perfect. The waiter was nice and helpful, and the waitress was as well. Great place definitely will be returning.
