Every time I order for either delivery or pick up, the people are very nice!!! Even though I’ve been able to tell they were understaffed, the cashier was kind and had a smile on (even if I couldn’t see it,I could feel it). Ordered online at 8:45pm; website said delivery was available at this location until 9pm. Credit card was CHARGED. Store employee called and said they STOPPED delivering at 8:30pm, and EVEN THOUGH my card was CHARGED, REFUSED to DELIVER me my order.

Went to order pizza online which said it would take 30-40 minutes. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, we went into the store only to be rudely told by the female manager that the order hadn’t even started and they would “start it now” (very condescendingly). When I asked for a refund, they gave it to me. However, as I was leaving, they rudely said, “Happy Halloween!” Very unprofessional and unacceptable. That manager should be reprimanded at minimum if that is how Papa John’s does business. We will NEVER be back!

Very strange odd manager working here he does very rude things like write messages on his blackboard out front saying people can’t use their cell phones in the store. He likes to tell you how much you saved with your coupon to try to make you feel guilty. If you say something he doesn’t like he gives you dirty looks.

I read some negative reviews but this place did not disappoint. They called to tell me they didn’t have Canadian bacon for our Hawaiian Pizza so we had them switch it to just regular bacon. The wait time was just what they told us it would be. It was tasty and crispy crust and cooked just right. The staff was very courteous and kind.

Delivery is always slow, driver just called to tell me their running late (it’s been 1.5+ hours) but he’s on his way, if I didn’t like that I could call and cancel. I called, no one answered. I called back, I was put on hold for five min before giving up.

I used to give this location 5 stars. I’m taking away stars now because the new manager is a barney. The manager before was friendlier and her pizza was a lot better. Her crust was to die for! Who ever got rid of her must not be looking out for the customer. This new guy totally creeps me out. Resembles slim shadey in a not good way.

0 stars. Poor customer service. Drivers are always high, forgot my soda on two seperate orders. To make matters worse i spent $50 on pizza and I received someone else’s order. However, it will be the last. If you ask me, this place should be shut down. They just lost one of their best customers in San Clemente. Time to hit up San Clemente Pizza company. This staff has no idea what they are doing. I wish I could mark 0 stars. I guarantee all of the good reviews on this site, is their staff.
