By and large, we had a great experience here. My wife and I both ordered steak, but I ordered a bison steak for the first time. Both were tender and delicious, but my wife’s broccoli side was cold when it arrived. The service was a little slow but still attentive.

The food is fantastic. Treat yourself to the bison delmonico. So tender and juicy and cooked just right. The sweet potato side is delicious. The burgers are ground on site and are wonderful. The wife and I also split an entree salad which was a nice complement to the meat. The onion rings for and the crisps are great appetizers.

Five stars because they serve the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Drinks are also the best in Boulder. It’s a chain, and not cheap, but just give any of their burgers a try. Seriously. They screw up rare burgers almost every time, unfortunately, and even if you emphasize you want extra pink, good luck (then send back the burger, because it’s about $16).

I have never written a review, but I was really disappointed in this place. The wait staff was horrible. Our waiter poured water all over me, and didn’t acknowledge it. Then he got our drink orders wrong. After that when he brought us our food, we asked for an extra plate, and he pointed at the ones already being used and said, “there’s two right there” even though he had another clean extra plate in his hand. The waitress standing at the back was talking really loudly and she was using inappropriate language and yelling profanity. The food however, was amazing.

There are a lot of these kinds of places all around Boulder. So much that none of them really stood out as having better beer or better food than the other. I seemed to eat at a different one each night and they all had great burgers and fries. And the beer? Well, it’s all good but I do feel like we either need to figure out new things to do with Beer or come up with alternatives to making your IPA with so many hops it makes its ancestors bitter. This place served Buffalo.
