I’ve been looking for birria tacos when I found this place on google maps. I looked at their menu and they offer a variety of options, but for my first trip I only ordered the quesabirrias. I thought that the difference between this and a birria taco was that this was a quesadilla as opposed to a taco. I was wrong. The difference is what I ordered has cheese and the other doesn’t. Nonetheless this tasted fantastic and the cheese was subtle so I think the birria tacos would be equally good.

Wow. Go to this place! Great food. I had the taco plate which came with rice and beans with three street style tacos. Had lengua, buche, and barbacoa. Definitely worth it. I saw at the last minute they have pozole so I will be getting that next time I go. Another dish for sure that I will get is quesobirria with a side of soup. Can’t wait. Atmosphere is nice, it also has a full bar as well. Definitely make a stop because if you blink you’ll miss this gem! They also had aguas frescas, which of course is nice to see. Always get my favorite, jamaica.

Fish tacos had a lot of fish and veggies. Great corn tortilla. Nice big size portion of 3. I was given a bottle of red or green salsa. The green salsa was awesome on the tacos. The chips and guac were a big portion too. Counter service with nice clean inside tables and booths. Bar inside if you want.

Found this place the other night before getting tattoos done and it was great. I had the tostada with ceviche and my friend had the steak tacos. Service was great!!!! The side of rice and beans is big enough to share. Chips and salsa were the bomb!!!!! Best salsa I’ve had in a long time.

Been looking for a good Taco place and stopped by Calles de Mexico. Suggested by a friend and this place did not disappoint. Till now the best corn tortilla tacos in DFW area. Chorizo and Al Pastor are perfectly seasoned. Do visit this visit place if you are in Colony/Lewisville area for tacos. You will not be disappointed.
