We have been getting subs from Bo Dids for 40 years. Most of the time they are excellent.( There was that time many years ago when they tried to use miracle whip instead of mayo but thankfully they went back to mayo). It’s been a bit, but Friday I ordered one on my way up North. My only complaint was that if I hadn’t seen the 3 thin slivers of tomato I would not have known I had any tomato in my sandwich. But there was an over abundance of pickles on it ,which made it taste more like a pickle sandwich then anything else. Will still remain a loyal customer but pickles are not a substitute for tomatoes.

If you are looking for a great hero/submarine sandwich look no further. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to eat then you might want to move on. Typical college hangout but the sandwiches are amazing.

It’s probably just in my head, but the original Bo Didd’s in St. Joe just taste better than the St. Cloud store, even though it’s exactly the same are great, don’t get me wrong, IDK maybe they put on more mayo…

Ordered a whole seafood sub and by my mistake did not realize it was loaded with veggies ( not a big veggie guy ) asked outta curiousity if there was anything i could do and they remade the sandwich no charge, was great and tasted phenomenal

As usual, my turkey sub was very good!! However, I ( and many other Bennie/Johnnie alum) are devastated by the gutting of the interior of Bo’s in the name of “remodeling.” All of the 1980’s warmth, charm, and character are forever gone. It is now a shell of a box. So .
