I’ve heard great things about The Hickory Stik that might give Hog Wild a run for their money. Great staff ready to help, plenty of meats to choose from, very reasonable prices. Their toast is fluffy and delicious, well appreciated, the Mac and cheese was good, and the meats were tasty. Definitely want to come back to try their other meat options! Be sure to grab plenty of BBQ sauce, though!

I have been working in Kansas since April. Starting in Topeka KS. In my time in Kansas I have been trying all kinds of BBQ. Hickory Stik is a very good BBQ joint. Had the half of slab of St. Louis ribs. They were very tender fall off the bone kind of ribs. Had a side of there spicy beans also. They had good flavor and just the right amount of heat. Highly recommend to stop by and have lunch or dinner.

I had the Club Stacker on Texas toast. I substituted the Turkey for brisket for $1.00 more. I had two sides: spicy beans and okra. The spicy beans were really to hot for my liking. The okra was hot and seasoned well. I will be back if I am in the area.

Amazing! You guys catered a banquet for us and the food was amazing. Had tons of compliments on it. Had enough food to serve 300 plus extra. Very tasty and very reasonably priced. We will consider you again next year. Thanks for all your hard work

Really enjoyed not only the food but the service from here. This was a catered event and they traveled almost an hour to our event. I thought the food was great and there was plenty for everyone. We had almost 350 attend. Great to work with and the food tasted good! Thank you so much!

Possibly the best, if not one of the best, bbq food I’ve ever had! I’ve tried a lot of different bbq places in different states so I’m not new to the bbq rodeo either. This place is definitely something to try if you find yourself in Hutchinson.

Attended a large event that was catered – Wow!! We were very impressed- great barbecue – sides were tasty and plentiful – plenty of food that people could have seconds with food left over! Staff was friendly and obviously wanted to please – would definitely use again

Definitely will be back more!! My brisket and hot links with slaw and potato salad was some of the best I’ve ever had (that says a ton coming from a guy from Virginia that only likes Carolina style). My wife Amy had the memo stacker which she loved but couldn’t finish it was soooooo big! We both ate way too much. Excellent customer service, you order and pay, get your drinks then choose your seat, our footwear was brought out and trash taken away by a very friendly man. Definitely a great choice

Ate here a few months ago and was not impressed. The meat was dry and didn’t have much smoke flavor. Then we just had them again this evening for a catered event. The beans were really good and so was the potato salad. The meat was very dry and flavorless, almost inedible. When the beans and potatoes are the best thing you get from a bbq place that’s pretty sad. Want great bbq go to Roy’s hickory pit.
