Food is so good, the brisket melted in my mouth and the cheddar grits were great. Good local beer selection too. Owner came up to make sure everything was up to par and even moved us up to the deck when it started to rain! 100% will be back.

My wife and I were literally driving right by Pig Candy BBQ on the way to another barbecue joint that we usually enjoy. She quickly pulled up Yelp’s photos and reviews (from the passenger’s seat) and I immediately made a U-turn. How did we not know Pig Candy BBQ was there for the past two years?!?! It’s inside of an old jailhouse building. The decorations, seating, outdoor area, musical selections and overall ambiance were fabulous! They even informed us that they are doing an Easter Sunday brunch… with no reservations. Order-wise, my wife had the Pig Candy Bowl with a side of Cheddar Grits. The Pig Candy Bowl is Pulled Pork over Mac ‘N Cheese with Slaw. I had the Brisket Sandwich with a side of Cowboy Beans. The Brisket was very tender and flavorful. Everything was deeeelish! We told our college son that we will definitely take him there once he is back home for the summer. Give ’em a try… I don’t believe you will be disappointed! And if you are, we probably can’t be friends. 🙂

Hands down the BEST brisket I’ve ever eaten. I’ve traveled for work for 10 years, eaten a TON of brisket & I’m a lifelong customer now. My family & I have been here 4 times, ordered the Christmas Eve and the Christmas dinner ahead of time for Carryout for both days because this place is so delicious!

Fantastic cook on the meat and flavor. Sampler did not disappoint. Bbq sauces maybe a little questionable on the “hot”. Reminded me more of a hot sauce than a bbq, and it is HOTTTTT, way too hot to use as a bbq.

Cute place, great food and great service. We had the sampler with pulled pork, brisket and sausage, corn pudding (where has THIS been all my life???), and potato salad. Made simply and perfectly. The staff was amazing, too, especially the younger man. Great music and cozy atmosphere. I wish this restaurant was in western NY. If I’m ever in Cincinnati again, I’m going here!!!

Brisket. Brisket. Brisket. The brisket sandwich was so good. The bun was perfectly toasted, so it was really soft with crunchy edges. Brisket was tender and well-seasoned. And the red bbq sauce goes great with it.

Best bbq we’ve ever eaten! The meat was moist without being fattyand cooked perfectly. Our sandwiches (pulled pork and rib) were so good, I was sad I couldn’t finish mine. We also shared the corn pudding which was also delicious.
