Low country, end of the road, place is in the Somerset County archives with the Arts Council. Long way to go, for us, to get a flounder filet. Take your time, zen, really zen, and zen again. Others will be jealous.

We walked into this restaurant at the end of Deal Island and knew immediately that we were in a locals bar/restaurant. It was a rainy day so we at inside. The food was amazing! Everything we had was Freshly made and so good! Crab cake, I don’t think there were any breadcrumbs in it, only crab. Soft shell crab sandwich was delicious. Locals were so friendly and fun. Sadly, there was a for sale sign on the building. Get there before it changes hands or closes!

If you’re ever on Deal island… this is a must stop! It’s at the END of the island. They have an interesting collection of food, snacks and fishing supplies, etc.. and a friendly pub with yummy food. Great hang out to meet the wonderful locals who live here. They need to design their own tshirt to sell.

I absolutely love their food and prices! I have only ordered take-out as we have just moved to the island. I look forward dinning in and getting to know the local community!

You must go here. In our party, we had crab cakes, soft crab sandwiches and single fried oysters, plus an appetizer called Devils Island Fries, which is very unique. Everything was delicious. I saw the potatoes for the french fries being cut just before they went into the fryer (with peanut oil), the soft crabs probably came from the shedding houses across the street (you can buy fresh ones to take home in the attached general store) and the cook was very proud of her fried oysters with good reason, they were amazing. If you look at the other most recent review, someone else in our party was impressed as well.

Old school bar and grill out near the very end of the Island, next to a marina that had a couple of Skipjack ships harbored there. Good food, nice people. Family run. We had soft shell crab sandwich and crab cake sandwich (from grandmother’s recipe) both where delicious. Beer and wine available. Outdoor deck and pet friendly too.
