Imagine going to a restaurant ordering $40 plus dollars worth of food and presenting a$100 bill and the cashier says we just opened do you have anything smaller! “no I don’t unfortunately ” and she says sorry we just opened! okay no worries I’ll take my money elsewhere ♂️… BE PREPARED at ALL TIMES! You missed a $45 dollar sale because you don’t have change.. SMH

We came here and paid $130 for some greasy fish. The snapper alone was $35 and it was drowning in oil (please see picture). Too much sauce on the rice, Mac and cheese tastes like cheesy water, frozen bag vegetables tossed with shrimp with no sauce. They gave us a big yam. Not cut up yams. Like a piece of yam! On top of all of this we asked for an additional empty foam plate and the woman said “let me ask my boss.” Smh.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. My food was so good. The amount of food for the price was exceptional. The food was flavorful and tasty, but that cabbage and macaroni was to die for. I will be back real soon to try those rib tips.

I had the jerk catfish cabbage rice and peas and I can’t forget the beautiful escovitch peppers and onions when I tell this food was so delicious and the portions so huge I enjoyed it so very much. BTW plantains can’t be better…thank you for all the care you take in cooking beautiful Jamaican cuisine..

I hate to scare anyone, but I was terrified last night when I found my boyfriend on the floor vomiting and having diarrhea after eating here. At one point he had passed out and the dog woke me up barking. That was the only thing he ate since coffee early in the day. He is still having bloody diarrhea the next morning. I called an ambulance yesterday to check his vitals and make sure there was nothing else going on. This was our first experience eating here and will be our last.
