Food and service like you’re at home! While visiting from up north, our trip to Miami was nothing short of expectations. Thankfully we came upon this fantastic Dominican spot hidden in the middle of an industrial area. Our waitress was quick, efficient and very friendly. As soon as we walked in, we were informed of food that is ready and our bellies were hungry, so we jumped on this opportunity.

This little hole in the wall was a pleasant surprise. I happened to pass by during lunch and decided to give it a try. I just had a bowl of Chicken Soup with rice, but it was very good. My waitress checked on me multiple times and was very pleasant. I really wasn’t expecting much, but I’m glad I stopped in. If I’m in the area, I will definitely return.

Stopped in for lunch during a work trip. Lucked into pig foot stew as a daily special. It was the best bowl of soup I’ve ever had. Rich broth with tomatoes and peppers with a big pile of rice and some house made hot sauce. Such big chunks of tendon and skin clinging to pork joints. Hot sauce is no joke either.

Very cozy and old place to have a relaxed but fun experience while having some clasic latino environment and a nice and delicious lunch! The owner was running teu the whole place making sure her customers where fully satisfied! While I didn’t spend that much time nor money in there. I had a great time 15$ for a nice dish of rabo encendido, with French fries and congri. 1$ for bottled water and a well deserved 4$ gratuity for 20$ you have an amazing experience and meal!

They forgot a main dish that we ordered in a party of 5. There are 3 TVs running a movie without sound with really loud music. There are flashing lights non stop at 2pm. We had a main dish that had part of the plastic packaging of some spice along with a strand of hair.

The food was good and they did a great job of veganizing it to accommodate us, but it was WAYYYYYYYY over-priced. Mangu, black beans and rice with some shredded lettuce for two of us… $30

First time here, order carne asada a la parilla. I sat directly in front of the small kitchen window. Over heard the cook say ” tenemos carne asada”? The waiter/cashier went in and showed her something. The cook looked confused and said OK. When I got home I realized they just gave me fried steak (bistec frito). Shortly after placing my order I decided I wanted mofongo as well. As I watched my cook prepare the mofongo she ate fries and grabbed ingredients for my mofongo with her bare hands. Prepped it with no gloves on literally packed my mofongo with her hands. The cashiers/ servers were very nice but not honest about what they served me. Wouldn’t come back or recommend it. My steak was hard kind of burned and not well seasoned. My naked salad was AMAZING.
