Cham Garden Korean BBQ is a family owned restaurant in Lakewood, WA and has been serving authentic Korean BBQ buffet style for over 10 years. Founded by James & Yoon Pak with their sons in 2007. The current owners, Jay and Kay Lim took over the business in 2018. They are committed to maintain and continue the same quality and standards that Cham Garden is known for.

One of the best Korean barbecue buffets in the area. Reasonable prices, nice staff and absolutely delicious meats and side dishes. Small establishment with only around 5 tables or so, so you will have to wait during rush hour but it’s worth it.

We had a wonderful meal at Cham; the food was excellent and the grilling experience was quite fun. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they kept the buffet full. (The beef bulgogi and beef brisket were excellent, as was the Cham rice.)

DO NOT GO!! Waited over 70 minutes for a table for 2. 3 other tables got seated before us. All 3 tables had 3+ in parties. After the third table got seated I asked why we are still waiting I was told larger parties get seated first. NOT OKAY! we decided after 70 minutes we would wait, we would have to be the next table. As the wait grew we saw another large party walking up. At that point I went in to ask if we would be next since the wait list showed ONLY us left. I was told no since they are larger and it looked like a larger table would be done first they would get that table. I was told it’s not her fault she just works there. I ask “don’t you know the difference between right and wrong”

Friendly service and clean, but meat is not really good they have pork belly, but it’s look like it is the cheapest tocino. They have short ribs with an extra charge of around $20 per plate. I was specting better meat, and if I compare to other Korean BBQ, they don’t charge you for lettuces wrap or something else extra.

Went on Sunday 3/27 you can now get your own meats and sides. Don’t have to order from that menu sheet when covid was strict. You do have to wear your mask getting your food. Tried most of the meats, all good. The sides, kimchee’s etc are good too. Ordered Kim Chee fried rice but that took time getting to our table. Everything was good
