I ordered at the drive through. The service was great. The employee was friendly, quick, and efficient. I ordered the 5 chicken tenders meal with a biscuit, coleslaw, and Cajun pintos. Everything was really good except the coleslaw. I think it could use some improvement. I don’t know if it is made fresh or if it comes from a package, but it has an aftertaste like it came from a package. A little salt and vinegar added to it would improve its taste. I really cannot say much about the restaurant’s atmosphere because I didn’t dine inside. Overall, I was very pleased with this Bojangles in Bethlehem. The biscuits and chicken tenders were much better than the other Bojangles where I have eaten.

I usually prefer this Bojangles to any other of them, but this morning I am regretting my choice. Everyone wants $15 an hour but give $5 an hour work. The girl that was at register came up on her phone texting and was trying to txt while taking my order. Yeah my wait wasn’t long but at the same time she had to ask me what I ordered to bag it. Then gonna open my biscuit and look at it. I did special order but come on there was nobody else in line and mine was the only biscuit up there. There were no other biscuits pre made. I had to get a different girl from drive through to get me some tea because the one in the lobby was empty and she said she knew it didn’t have any in it. Well if they knew then the first girl should have went ahead and got my tea instead of handing my an empty cup. Do better people. I’m very disappointed in my experience here this time.

Today it took almost 20 minutes for my order to be fulfilled. The assistant manager came out after 10 minutes and admitted that they had forgotten to drop our Bo Rounds, and for my trouble they would give us extra Bo Rounds and an extra sandwich. I waited another 10 minutes and then the food was finally brought out. I was on the phone so couldn’t check the bag when they brought it out. And sure enough, when I got home, there was no extra Bo Rounds, nor sandwich. Lame. Don’t promise it if you aren’t going to deliver.

Bojangles, just like every other fast food restaurant has gone to the pits. Slow service, employees that are far less than helpful and food that simply isn’t good. The value proposition is leaning away from Bojangles.

Something has changed at this location in the past several weeks. I used to go through the drive through 4-5 times a week, but lately the staff seems to have changed. Slow service…people who are not nearly as friendly and biscuits not hot and fresh with crisp bacon.
