Don’t believe all the bad reviews and take them with a grain of salt. If you are looking for a trendy LA sushi spot. This is not it. This however is authentic sushi. Don’t believe the hype. The menu is so creative and will thought of. Try it and you will be happy. The firecracker roll is the best. Try different rolls you have never tried before and you’ll be amazed. The iced green tea is great as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Best ayce sushi bar in West OC. Far better than the buffet places. They feed you well with thick fresh sushi. Although the owners are Korean, they feed you as well as any high priced Japanese sushi bar. It is a great value. I go there at least once a month and have been for the past 3 years. One of my favorites!

From out of town… accidentally stumbled upon this place, so I thought we would try it out. This sushi was by far the most disgusting crap I had ever eaten. Sushi rolls were made so big, I couldn’t even chew it. Fish was not fresh, and extremely over priced. The best part about this restaurant was leaving . Very disappointed.

Sad to say this place used to be great for ayce but now the quality of the fish has dropped to an all time low. Would definitely recommend not going here. My family and I have had bad fish on multiple occasions.

You get alot of meat for the price. I close to explode eating here. Thankgoodness a 1 hour time limit otherwise I would puke a lot of fish. I saw bad reviews…im giving a fairly honest 3 to 4 stars…sometimes some interesting characters here … story tellers…but who knows..overall good sushi but not 5 star… Main thing sushi was good on a friday at 5pm not many people and chef gave me instant sushi bomb….there

We have been going to Joe’s for years although the service could always be better we were happy with the quality for the price. However went there tonight and there is a “3 day quit or notice” notice taped on the window from the property manager. It appears that Joe’s abandoned their restaurant and responsibilities of paying their rent. So disappointed!

Worst sushi I’ve ever had… you would think being a mile away from the ocean would mean you would have fresh fish but not at Joe’s Sushi…. And $3 dollars for a can of coke! I’ll just bring my own drink thank you…. I’d like to go home & throw up now!

The last time we were there one of the sushi chefs literally yelled at and degraded a customer sitting next to us. Used to be one of our favorite spots, but will no longer go due to the treatment of their customers.
