I’ve been looking forward to trying this place for quite some time, everytime that I have gone they would either be closed or have an outrageous wait time. I finally placed an order for oxtails, I have been tearing down the city to find a place with the best, oxtails. I’ve tried Da Blue lagoon, Jamaican breeze, Jiallo’s and Yaso. I’m tired and very disappointed, as you can see in the photos for this $25 oxtail carryout, the size of the oxtails we’re inconsistent. Why are you playing with me for this price (see photo) that is literally a bone, and it should have never made his way to my container. The rice peas and cabbage were all bland, and the cabbage almost non existent, rice and peas were plenty, PLENTY bland. Let me not forget to add that the plantains, clearly was made on another day, not fresh at all and notably reheated, Another disappointment. Not photo is beef patties, you had one you had them all, it was good and spicy.

Great Jamaican food at a fair price. The jerk chicken and ribs were perfectly smoky and well seasoned. The spicy jerk sauce was delicious! The oxtail was tender with a slightly sweet sauce. The rice and beans were exceptional with a perfect texture. We also took some meat patties to go, and they were excellent as well. I highly recommend!

Ordered a large ox tail, paid $25 and the meat was cold, but the cabbage and rice were hot smh not seasoned good at all. The oxtails taste like sweet sauce on them this is not how they season the food authentically it does not taste like barbecue sauce If you want real Jamaican food go to the east coast. This is Jafaking

They’re very delicious but I did notice that they took out more money than my receipt says they did so I would just bring cash when you come here but overall I love the food it’s delicious especially the curry goat

It was okay, just ok. Definitely didn’t live up to the hype though. The restaurant was very clean, no complaints about cleanliness. We ordered the oxtail/rib combo, goat/rib combo, curry chicken and some beef patties. The patties and cabbage was the best thing. I can’t stand when you tell the person who takes the order it’s your first time there and they just stand there. Don’t ask you what you’re leaning towards, give no kind of insight, offer no help…just stand there.

My first time having Jamaican food and it was amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail which I have never had. I was scared but it was outstanding. It was like small pieces of roast, soft and tender and well cooked. The chicken was phenomenal. I was told to try the ribs and curried goat on the next trip.

Hidden gem! The portions were big and the jerk chicken was flavorful and smoked to perfection. The chicken was falling off the bone! This is my second time here and the quality is very consistent. Also the best side of cabbage I’ve ever had!

My first experience at this restaurant was amazing I ordered an oxtail with rice and peas and two beef Jamaican patty. Now my second time going to this restaurant again the food was great but the beef patty was burnt and hard. I am so disappointed with that because I really was looking forward to eat their beef patty again but this time around I didn’t like it. I wish I was told that the beef patty was overcooked. Also I tried their mac & cheese for the first time and it was good I recommend everyone to try it. But next time do better put the beef patty.

Very tasty food but the guy whomever he is lacks MANNERS esp when he’s talking to women. Maybe that’s how they talk to women in Jamaica but most women in these United States earn their own money and bussiness and don’t appreciate been talked to snappy. So act like a gentleman and act like you had a mama that taught you something!
