Worst teriyaki ever !!!! They just cook the same dry chicken and then give a sauce and then call it “orange” chicken or “sweet sour” chicken just based on the sauce in a small tub. Its disgusting and fake advertising. I dont know how they are included in Uber eats.

I like many had a good first experience here. But it appears every time i ordered food, it got worse and worse. In particular my uber eats orders. This last one was the last straw for me.

I hate leaving the minimum tip at a place I frequent. But when I call an establishment I’ve called twice a month since they’ve opened and I get “Hello?” instead of the same introduction I’ve gotten every time I’ve called before, being the name of their establishment, ready to take my order, of course I’m going to respond confused with “Hello?” Then I get “Hello, you called me.” More confused yet I respond with “Hello is this JOA Teriyaki?” And the response I get is “No, this is Joa Teriyaki”….my mistake obviously. No shocker that when I walk in it’s some teenage brat with eye liner to her ears with friends hanging around the counter so it’s clear she was trying to impress them by not taking her job seriously? I am very perplexed. It’s just a shame when a family owned business builds something, would like to take a break to enjoy their success so they hire outside the family just to bring people on who tarnish their good name. To the clearly ungrateful girl who the owners were gracious enough to give a chance to, answer the phone with the name of the business and be ready to serve or don’t take the job. And to the owners, I’m terribly sorry that’s who you had to choose from when it came to applicants. Good help is hard to find. I hope the minimum tip went straight to the grill because, thought the fried food was soggy, at least the Teriyaki was how I’ve come to expect.

Not to bad of good cheap teriyaki that is tasty. Good amount of chicken teriyaki and steamed veggies were good even though I prefer salad. Egg roll was kind of soggy but everything else was fine.

Hate to dislike a new place, especially during COVID, but their competition is fierce! I’ve been told not to order sushi rolls from a place that doesn’t serve sushi – nigiri or sashimi… I should have listened!

Found this place upon arriving late on a flight from the east coast. Was recommended the spicy chicken teriyaki, which I enjoyed immensely. The staff I encountered were very friendly and I had my takeout order very quickly.

The excellent teriyaki establishment! The employee was very friendly and personable, even struck up conversation, which is always nice when you’re in a local spot. They do a steamed vegetable instead of a cold salad or coleslaw on the side, and the portions are large. It is my belief that teriyaki joints are a diamond dozen, it’s simply hard to go wrong. But there are those few that stand out that make you return, and basically make it your spot, and Teriyaki Joa gives me that feeling. Try them out!

Mid teriyaki, your order occasionally lacks its full contents.
