Today I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this beautiful gem. The owner is extremely welcoming, personable and kind. She gave me a sample of oxtail, which I have never tried Before. Let me tell you something when I say this is the most delicious meat I have had in my entire life. The meat just fell off the bone, and was incredibly flavorful. I will be making a special one hour trip one-way each week just to be able to try her ox tail on Fridays and Thursdays.!!

What an incredible find! Arlene treated us with amazing southern bbq! First time I have had Ox Tail and it was truly drop off the bone! Arlene was a delight, loves cooking and sharing her love through her food. They are expanding with a deck and fun outdoor lighting….so worth finding this GEM

Ordered the fried leg quarter plate with two sides. Chicken was cold (questioning if it was even cooked today). Mac and Cheese was bland and cold as well. It’s one thing to order something and not like it, it’s another to spend $15 on lunch for cold food. This will likely be my first and last time dining at Arlene’s.
