This is fish and chips (fries) and it is absolutely yummy! If you’re not into fish, they have other things to like burgers, a salad, and what my girlfriend ate which was deep fried green beans. Those were interesting and came with a honey based slightly teriyaki flavored sauce. I had the blue fish (rock fish) deep fried and it was the best I’ve ever had. Cole slaw was good too. Topped off with a very tasty lemon drop, it was a perfect lunch! And this place is gorgeous. They renovated an early 1900s church including the original stained glass windows. The pictures speak for themselves.

Dr. Seuss would be happy, but my cardiologist would not! I had the bluefish my wife had the shrimp baskets. Good food. I had tea and it was on point. The fish was really good fresh wonderfully done, not covered in batter. I would recommend this place, I plan on coming back again, and everyone should try their sauce. Everything is fresh and made daily.

So tasty! A true diamond here in Roseburg. Shrimp cocktail was fresh, blue fish was moist and perfectly seasoned. Beer battered green beans are addicting. Best shrimp basket I’ve had. The bar put out some perfectly made mixed drinks.

First time visiting catch 22 for lunch. The blue fish (rock fish) was amazing, i would say best in Roseburg oregon. You certainly can’t get any fresher. There staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Had coleslaw. Which was very fresh. Only reason not 5 stars. French fries were on the greasy side & not crisp, however the fries had great flavor. Absolutely recommend Catch 22. I got dinner portion of fish. Glad I did.

I feel like there needs to be a slight backstory here. I’m out of town for work and trying a new place every night. I seen this unique looking establishment and I love seafood so I wanted to try it… They were closed. I waited a couple days and looked forward to going in. I was really disappointed though. I got the red fish and chips basket with coleslaw ($17.95). The one good size fish fillet was drenched in grease. I used every inch of my napkin soaking it up and it still wasn’t enough. My fork was my weapon of choice, I dug out the fish fillet from the breading like any food rescuer would have done. The fries, or as I called them grease sponges, were nothing to brag about. I ate two and just couldn’t continue. You can sit at the table and scan a QR code with your phone to order then they will holler out the window when your foods ready and you go get it. You would think that if they are saving that much money on not having waited tables that they wouldn’t charge so much. Yet a two piece fish fillet with fries is $36.00 and again, drizzled with grease. I wish it would have been better. The search for good seafood continues.
