I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! From the food to the atmosphere, every detail was perfect and made dining out in NYC almost feel normal again. Started off with the guacamole which was incredible and then chose 3 tacos. I thought they would be the standard small 6 inch street tacos but no they were much bigger with the best hand pressed corn tortillas I’ve ever had! Sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients and didn’t taste chalky like I’ve come across before. The carne asada was out fo this world, so tender and full of flavor! We also got a side of the elotes and wooooowwww I’m still thinking about how good it is. Finished the meal with a bowl of mango with lime and tajin, which was perfectly balanced and (I can’t stress this enough) the freshest mango I’ve ever had. They also have the cutest little walk up takeout window that you can get awesome Margs and tacos to go. 10/10 would go here every night.

Say hello to the new best tacos in the Village. We were floored by how good they were. Clearly, they’re taking the Market Table attention to detail and applying it to wonderful tacos. The tortillas were great, but the filling… The potato and poblano is, against all odds, the best taco I’ve ever had. The barbacoa is a high quality, perfect steak. The pork was amazing. The only let down was the lamb, but I’m not a huge lamb fan so my opinion is a bit moot. The flautas were delightful, especially with the lime crema that’s loaded with lime zest. The margaritas were also great. We’ve been socially distancing with lots of tacos, and these were just the kind that makes you make those ridiculous “oh my God, how is this so good” face with every bite. They’re wonderful, and I’m hoping they outlive social distancing. I need these in my life often and always.

We went to Mariposa for lunch, and it was great! We dined inside and the social distancing was quite good. The staff were extremely helpful, and rhe food was really good. Not Tex-Mex, a little more authentic.
