My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere that this neighborhood has to offer and come often to grab coffee. BUT please spend money to hire a real barista for the coffee. This place has the most inconsistent & less than par tasting coffee at a premium price. I think the owner runs a school for baristas in making rather than a coffee shop. If this is the case, I recommend a discount on the coffee since the customers are the genuine pigs here. Granted, this place does have the best pastries. I gave five stars to leave room for improvement.

Had a mood ring decaf coffee which was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, just a bit slow… Likely because they spend the time to make a great cup. It’s not the type of cafe I’d want to sit and hangout but Sierra Madre is such a quaint small town, you can easily find a spot outside to enjoy your pastry and coffee. Definitely worth a visit.

A quaint little coffee shop packed with personality. There’s a little couch in the corner to sit on while you wait for your order. Emily was especially nice as the took our order. Very high quality coffee from Unity coffee, an ethically sourced roasting company. It’s near my house so it’s a great choice for an early morning fix. ^_^

Great little bakery in Sierra Madre with amazing tasting coffee and baked goods. I visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was already packed. From what I gather, the bakery is still in it’s soft opening phase so the menu options are limited.

the nitro cold brew was delicious as i wish they had a larger size! we got assistance with some questions from the nice young lady at the register who helped us decide what to ultimately settle on eating and drinking. i’ll be sure to go for a ‘mood ring’ next time! the area surrounding this shop is really nice too.
