I visited ChezKatu on 2 separate on occasions. The 1st time, I wanted to try a variety of patties. I ordered chicken, beef, cheese, and griot. They were made to order, which means they were hot and fresh. However, the pickup progress needs more work. I was inside when my order was ready, but I wasn’t informed. There were no names or numbers being called. I understand they had an abundance of orders, but I had to keep checking with the pick-up window to see if my order was ready. My order ended up sitting on the counter. My favorite pate was the griot and pikliz. It was delicious. My least favorite was the cheese because it seemed empty compared to the other pates. On my second visit, I ordered the griot and pizza pate. The pizza pate was good, but the griot was overcooked and greasy. I literally received an envelope of grease, which was disappointing. I also tried the Haitian limeade. It was very tart.

I have purchased from this restaurant A LOT. And 1 too many times the Pattie’s are so spicy is unbeatable. This has happened at least 3 times throughout my visits . Please please please consider those who can’t handle spice. I love spice, and yet I couldn’t enjoy .

The food is good but they need to do better on their service time. If they spend less time talking and actually doing what they’re suppose to be doing people wouldn’t have to wait so long. The wait time is ridiculous. For 1 veggie patty I walk in at 8:09 to place my order why I received my order at 8:41. For 1 patty. Every time I say I’m going to give them another chance it’s the same thing every time, long wait time for no reason. My black businesses need to do better.

I order 2 pate and on the bottom of the bag it was drenched with oil!! I still ate it because I was sooo hungry and waited almost 30 mins with no customers and not only that the other pate was also drenched and when I went to pate the only out the whole pate broke because of the crispness. The cashier was having a whole conversation on the phone and couldn’t even greet me properly because of this. I’m definitely NOT going back. Waste of $15.

I am OBSESSED with their Morue or Saltfish pates… I always order two with extra red sauce. They are so packed with fish and bursting with flavor. My mouth is watering thing about them.

I’ve been following them on IG forever now, so the chance I got to Miami, I had to drive up and try them! I used the app to order. I got 4 different pates- 1 hot dog & egg, 1 chicken, 1 griot & pikliz, & 1 breakfast. My favorite one hands down was the griot & pikliz!!! I could eat that every day if it was up to me! The hot dog & egg was probably my second favorite! I’m Haitian and grew up eating hot dog and eggs so it was cool to see them put it in a pate. The breakfast one was super good too. I honestly didn’t get to eat all of my chicken pate because I was so full. You really only need one or two of them to do the job!! I also tried a soursop smoothie… OMG!!! The best smoothie I’ve ever had. And of course, my go-to Haitian limeade was bomb and super refreshing! I am so happy I finally got to try them out! I will definitely be back on my next visit.

I was brought to this place because of Keith Lee and the patties were ok. I got beef, herring, pizza, and veggie. My family thought the patties were overhyped but to each their own. The staff wasn’t rude or anything but the wait was ridiculous.

If you think the line is long sit back and relax because it’s worth the wait. These Patties are fried FRESH‼️ You can reduce the wait time by simply ordering online or using their app. I had the Seafood and Griot Pattie it was huge lumps of Real Crab Meat and Shrimp and Conch….and whatever that red dipping sauce is I need a bottle of it. This is a place you get to every week
