The Cheesesteak Grille is hidden in a mini strip mall off Sierra College Blvd. If you blink you might miss it. There is an impressive variety of cheesesteak sandwiches and side dishes to choose from. It’s a mom and pop team, that take and make your order. The traditional cheesesteak sandwich arrived hot and steaming. It was a healthier, bland version of a cheesesteak sandwich without the grease. Something was missing in the taste. It could have been the huge pile of lettuce that didn’t give the sandwich the authentic taste. I would recommend going with an original cheesesteak sandwich without the lettuce and tomato. It’s not a great date spot, since there isn’t anything to do besides grab a bite to eat. Very impressed with the flavors, variety of cheesesteak sandwiches and sides. I had the California Cheesesteak, a spicy sandwich with jalapeño’s that are actually spicy! My sons had the Traditional Philly Cheesesteak and the Pepperoni Pizza Cheesesteak. All three were prepared FRESH, brought to our table. Equally impressive is that the owner checked with us and other patrons to make sure were were happy with the food. All in all, big thumbs up! I will visit again.
